Career Connections
As part of a group of new initiatives aimed at preparing our students for choosing and succeeding in their future careers, we are looking for CC alumni and parents to share their post-graduate job experience with our students. There are a few different ways you can help out:
+ Career Talk – Give a short talk about your career and answer questions from students. At CC during school hours. 30 minute time commitment.
+ Career Mentorship – Talk with a student virtually or via phone and give advice about pursuing a certain career path. Flexible timing. Can be done from work or from home. 20-30min.
+ Mock Job Interviews – This opportunity is for those with experience hiring employees. This can be done at CC during school hours or virtually. 30 min.
+ Job Search Etiquette Workshop – Share wisdom about the etiquette of searching for and applying to jobs (eg. writing emails, sending thank you notes, what to wear for an interview). At CC during school hours. 30 min.
