CONGRATULATIONS TO SNO-SHUFFLE COURT!
SNOW SHUFFLE - We are excited to invite you to Catholic Central Sno Shuffle 2025! The seniors have been hard at work planning your special night. The theme of this year’s Sno Shuffle is Disney, come out to enjoy a night in “The Most Magical Place on Earth”!

If paying for your ticket to Sno Shuffle is a financial concern, please contact Mrs. Lamrouex, Mrs. Joynt, or your counselor for assistance. We do not want financial concern to be a barrier to enjoying this night with your classmates.
Mrs. Lamrouex (Green) will follow up with expectations for the dance per the student handbook.

MODEL UN NEWS - Congratulations to the Model United Nations team who competed at the 38th Annual MUNUM Conference at the University of Michigan. The team was strongly represented by Danny Kirk, Josh Geer, Kate McNamara, Alyssa Oliver, Ben Quint, Joseph Greenop, Sachiel Fickel, Gabriel Fluegel, and Rowan Kozminski. Rowan was awarded Outstanding Delegate for his work in a historical committee re-enacting the Russo-Japanese War. If you are interested in joining the team for the upcoming March competition at Michigan State University, please see Mr. Schrems. There are limit spots available.
BLOOD DRIVE - January 31, 2025 is the next CC blood drive. If you are 16 or older you are encouraged to give others the gift of life since one blood donation can help up to three people. Also, those who donate/volunteer a certain number of times qualify for a special red cord that is worn at graduation. FAITH, SCIENCE, & REASON BOOK STUDY - Mrs. VanderMolen will be running a Faith, Science, and Reason Book Study during Focus times in February and March. The book is called "Finding God in the Waves" by Mike McHargue. He says it is his personal journey on "How I lost my faith and found it again through Science." Prior students have really enjoyed the format of this book study. First priority will go to juniors and seniors, but there will probably be space for underclassmen. This book study counts as the 8 Faith, Science, and Reason hours needed for the STEAM Designation. Please let Mrs. VanderMolen know if you are interested; She needs to order books soon!
KCTC OPEN HOUSE - The annual open house for prospective students of the Kent Career Tech Center will be February 5th & 6th from 5:00 - 7:00pm. each night. Teachers, administrators and students will be on hand to answer questions. No registration is necessary. KCTC is free for 11th- and 12th-graders in Kent County and Kent ISD schools and homeschool students.
