NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH - Join us in solidarity to stop bullying and cyberbullying! October is National Bullying Prevention Month.  Make World Day of Bullying Prevention, which is this Monday, October 7th, the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world by wearing all Blue (and blue jeans too!)  You will be using your voice and sending a message that this is the day that bullying prevention is heard around the world. Let’s BeKind and BlueUp together. 

CATHOLIC CENTRAL SPECTATOR EXPECTATIONS - This is a reminder that in order to provide the safest, most secure environment for all our fans, Catholic Central will be enforcing the following policies at all of our home football games at Cougar Stadium.

TUTORING AVAILABLE - Drop-in tutoring sessions are available in October on Tuesdays and Thursdays

  • 7-8am in the library with Mrs. Ciucci
  • 3-4pm in the 1st floor Student Center* with Mrs. O'Rourke (location has been changed)

In November we will go back to offering Mon/Wed after school tutoring.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - The Eastern Avenue Church Tutoring program is looking for a few reliable peer tutors for Thursday nights starting in October.  This is a great opportunity for earning weekly service hours (1.5) and a free dinner!  Please see or email Mrs.Smitley in the Counseling Office for more details.

FOCUS TIMES - Great opportunities for Career Talks this week! Sign up through Mrs. VanderMolen’s Focus Times

  • Thursday - 10/3 Giann Delgado from LogicGate will come talk about software development/technology and the opportunities surrounding that career choice.

MENTORING PROGRAM - ACE is a free, award-winning, after-school program designed to inspire students into pursuing careers in architecture, construction, engineering, and the skilled trades. They are in their 6th year of programming here in West Michigan, with over 79 alumni from 22 high schools and over $52,000 in scholarships provided. Attached you’ll find the 2024-2025 registration flier, outlining how potential students can register and the schedule for this year's program (November 2024 - February 2025).  If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. VanderMolen
