ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2025

DRESS DOWN DAY TOMORROW - At the end of March, 20 CC Junior/Senior missionaries will be traveling to build homes, provide medical care, and teach English in some of the most poverty-stricken areas of the Dominican Republic. You can help support their mission by participating in a dress-down day tomorrow, Friday, February 28.   

• Standard dress-down day procedures:
  
  • $2 for jeans
  • $5 for sweatpants

If you would like to donate more to their cause, please do! All support is greatly appreciated! Donations will be collected during first carrier tomorrow morning.

THURSDAY, MARCH 6 - FULL DAY OF SCHOOL - Next Thursday, March 6 will be a full day of school with Parent Teacher conferences taking place after the school day ends.

JOURNALISM APPLICATION - Journalism Application: Ms. Oman is looking for students who are interested in writing for the Blue & White Newspaper. Please apply by Feb. 28th. 

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Enjoy working with kids? And would you also enjoy a volunteer activity that involves running? San Juan Diego Academy is looking for volunteers to help coach the Total Trek Quest program this Spring at the school. TTQ is a program for 3rd to 5th grade boys that teaches them to make positive life choices through running, culminating in a competitive 5K at the end of the practices. Practices run from 3:40 to 5:10 p.m., beginning March 11 and ending on May 15. (There are no practices during Spring break.) All you would need to do is run with the boys and encourage them to keep moving toward their goal. Running times range from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. There will be trained coaches present who will be responsible for actually running practices. Coaches may be male or female, but must be at least 16 years old.
