BOYS GOLF TRYOUTS

  • When - Begin Monday, March 11th
  • Where - Quail Ridge Golf Club
  • Time - 3:30PM - Meet at the first tee
  • Details - Be prepared for the cooler weather and to play 9 holes each day this week.

MUSICAL NEWS - "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Come and join Catholic Central in our family-friendly production of Shrek! Performances are March 20-23 at 7pm with a Saturday matinee at 1pm at the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center. Tickets go on sale through Circle Theatre box office on March 11. Call 616-456-6656 or go to https://circletheatre.org/catholic-secondary-schools/ to order online. $10 for adults and $5 for students. Come support this fantastic musical and expect a wonderful time!

PRO LIFE T-SHIRT ORDER - 2024 Catholic Central Pro-Life T-Shirts! We need to know how many of each size to order, so please take the time to fill out THIS FORM! Each shirt is $15, with the money due to Mrs. Lambert in room 510 as soon as possible. You can still buy shirts if you didn’t fill this out in time, but there will likely only be a limited number for all those who did not fill out this form. The shirts should arrive in a few weeks!

TECHNOLOGY DRIVE - The Esports team will be beginning their old technology drive. They will be collecting old phones, laptops, tablets, wires, and other electronics with metal in them. They can't take screens, batteries, and certain other hazardous materials. Items can be dropped off in room 405. The drive will end at the end of the week of spring break(4/5). LAST WEEK FOR SENIOR YARD SIGNS - Seniors! It’s the last week to order yard signs! Celebrate your graduation and show your Cougar Pride! Order your double sided yard signs, complete with H-stake for proud parents, grandparents, and other family members! Signs are also a great way to mark open house locations! Cost is $35 each and all proceeds will go to the Senior All Night Party preparations. Orders are due by March 15, 2024. Please see this FLYER for additional information and how to order or stop by the office to pick up an order form.

SANP INFO - We are excited to celebrate our Seniors at the Senior All Night Party held after graduation! Plans have been made and we look forward to a memorable night! Our two goals for the event are to give ALL of the graduates a fun evening to celebrate together one last time and to keep everyone safe. With just over 3 months until Graduation, the SANP committee needs your help with a final push in registrations.

FOCUS TIME - Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 12, a representative from the Harmel Academy of Trades located right here in Grand Rapids, will be with us during Focus time. Come and learn about opportunities that exist for careers surrounding the area of Skilled Trades (plumber, electrician, HVAC, IT, mechanic, etc.). If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. VanderMolen. 

MILITARY ACADEMY - Are you a JUNIOR interested in military academies? The Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) is a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of a West Point cadet.  At SLE, you will explore West Point from all angles, including our high-tech educational facilities, team-building athletic activities, and realistic military training.  

POLICE ACADEMY - Registration is now open for the High School Police Academy that will be held the week after school gets out. It will be held at KISD in conjunction with GRPD, Kent County Sheriff, Michigan State Police, and the Department of Natural Resources. More information can be found HERE

COLLEGE FAIR - National Christian College Fair - West Michigan is next month Wednesday, March 13, 2024 from 6:30pm - 8:30pm hosted at Grand Rapids Christian High School, Quest Center, 2300 Plymouth Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506.  Register to attend this free college event here.
