HOMECOMING GUEST PASSES - Homecoming guest passes are available in the main office and are due by next Friday, September 13. Signatures from your guest’s school are required, so don’t delay in getting this form filled out!
2023-2024 YEARBOOKS! - If you have not picked up your yearbook from last year, please see Mrs. Murphy in room 404! Not sure if you bought one? Check your email, as a message was sent to all the students who haven't picked theirs up on 9/3. Thank you!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - Retriever Fever is a free community event and fundraiser for Paws With A Cause where people bring their dogs to have a friendly competition on who is the top dog…a Golden Retriever or the Labrador Retriever! Volunteers are needed to help set up the day of the event, Saturday, September 21, 8am-10am to set up tables, chairs, and tents at Riverside Park. There will be giveaways and lots and lots of dogs! BABYSITTER WANTED - There is a Catholic family in need of a babysitter for evenings and weekends for parents date nights and some after school help here and there. Their last sitter was a CCHS student but just graduated and is attending college out of town. They have 3 children at home (6, 4, 2 yo) and an infant. They live in Ada/Cascade and the children go to school at St. Paul’s. They are looking for an organized and responsible girl who can say bedtime prayers and manage 3 (and eventually 4) adorable children! They prefer a sitter who can drive or have parents who can drive, but if she lives close they may be able to help with getting to/from the house. TUTORING - Tutoring will begin this week in the Library. Morning tutoring is Tuesday, Wed, Thursday from 7-8 (English/Social Studies focus). Afternoon tutoring is Monday, Tuesday, Wed, Thursday from 3-4 in the library; math and science teachers are tutoring but students can get help with anything they need help with. All students are welcome to walk in when support is needed.
SHAKESPEARE NEWS - Come join the production of Shakespeare’s “A Comedy of Errors.” Auditions will be held today afternoon after school.
CATHOLIC CHARITIES CHAMPIONS - If you are over 16 and are looking for a way to make a difference in the West Michigan community please consider applying to be a Catholic Charities Champion for the 24-25 school year. If you would like more information click this link or stop by 501 to talk with Mrs. Perry. The deadline for applications is Sep 20, 2024.
BLOOD DRIVE - September 13, 2024 is the next CC blood drive. So if you are 16 or older you are encouraged to give others the gift of life since one blood donation can help up to three people. Also, those who donate/volunteer a certain number of times qualify for a special red cord that is worn at graduation. COLLEGE VISITS - A representative from the colleges listed will be available to meet with CC students in grades 10-12. Reserve your spot 24 hours prior to the visit through SCOIR.
