SENIOR YARD SIGNS - Seniors! Graduation yard signs have been delivered and are in the foyer for pick-up. If you are unsure if you ordered a sign, please check in with Mrs. Quint. Don’t forget to grab the H-stand! 

HOUSE LEADERSHIP - House Leadership applications for the 2024-25 school year are due at 8:00 AM on Monday, April 15. Links to the applications and information about each position can be found in this document. Faculty endorsements do not require a signature; you just need to ask a teacher for their recommendation. These teachers do not need to be from your house. Please reach out to your house dean if you have any further questions!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY - Please consider helping the Knights of Columbus feed the hungry at a food packing event April 20th at Holy Redeemer in Jenison from 8-noon.  If you are able to attend and help for all or any part of that time scan the QR code on this flyer and sign up. 

COUGAR GEAR STORE - Here are the dates for the cougar Gear store for the Spring games in the stadium.  We will also be open for playoff games as needed.

STEAM OPPORTUNITIES

  • GRCC COMMUNITY STEM DAY - This Saturday, April 13 from 10:00am-12:00pm at GRCC Downtown Campus, Calkins Science Center. This event is for all students ages K-12 (and beyond!) and is free to everyone!
  • She Innovates, She Leads: Inspiring Change for a Sustainable World is an in-person career exploration workshop for rising 9th-12th grade girls in Michigan.  Our mission is to expose and inspire the participating high school students to the diversity of amazing careers in Michigan, led by their passions, and to learn about pathways that contribute towards sustainability! Hosted at Grand Valley State University's Innovation Design Center on Saturday, May 18th, the program will feature four rotating panels of professional women in leadership and STEM fields, with a GVSU collegiate panel at the end of the event. CATHOLIC CENTRAL INTERNSHIP EXPERIENCE - CCIE 2024 - Catholic Central Class of 2025 and 2026: you are invited to participate in the first year of the Catholic Central Internship Experience (CCIE). Please read below if you are interested in learning more and applying. This summer we are offering three internship placements: John Ball Zoo, The Center for Physical Rehabilitation, & Stenger & Stenger Law Firm. Applications are due Friday, April 12 by 3:00pm. COLLEGE FAIR - West Michigan National College Fair | DeVos Place | April 23 | 8:30-11:30 AM & 6-8 PM. High school students are invited to attend this FREE annual college event to learn about college options and meet representatives from over a hundred institutions.  Students are encouraged to pre-register for the fair at https://www.nacacattend.org/24WestMichigan. Catholic Central will provide a bus for interested students to attend the morning session. Students must submit a parent-signed permission form to the Counseling Office to reserve a spot on the bus (space permitting first-come, first served) no later than Friday, April 19. Parents are encouraged to attend the evening session of this fair with their student. Information about financial aid and other college planning resources will be provided.

BEGINNING WITH BREAKFAST - A hot breakfast of the chef’s choice will be offered daily. All breakfast combos are served with fruit, juice, and milk
