Academics

Our students examine the relationship between faith and reason and, in doing so, build critical thinking skills for college and beyond.

At Catholic Central High School, students are exposed to the highest-quality college preparatory curriculum in an academic environment built on faith, collaboration, and individualized support of every student

Led by exceptional faculty, Catholic Central strives to develop students physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Guided by the Seven Principles of Catholic Social Teaching, theology and philosophy are integrated with mathematics, literature, history, and science. Our students examine the relationship between faith and reason and, in doing so, build critical thinking skills for college and beyond.

Historically, Catholic Central has a 99% graduation rate, and over 97% of our students enroll in higher education after graduation.

Students are encouraged to advocate for themselves, meeting with teachers, guidance counselors, or academic support team members to get help when needed. In addition, our robust student support services provide individualized support to meet students wherever they may be — as well as help them realize and exceed what they believe is their learning potential.

Learning Beyond

Students learn outside the classroom during service projects. We are blessed to be located in the Heartside community which allows students to live out our school mission by contributing to their society through leadership and service.

“It doesn’t matter if you want to be a doctor or a lawyer or a teacher, you have all of the skills to be successful in your profession, but also in your daily life. I think that is really something special about Catholic Central - whether it's in a classroom or in a community, they teach you how to be yourself.”
