QUOTE OF THE DAY

A great artist can paint a great picture on a small canvas.
Charles Dudley Warner

N THIS DAY IN HISTORY – March 4, 1861 Abraham Lincoln becomes the 16th president of the United States on March 4, 1861. In his inauguration speech, Lincoln extended an olive branch to the South, but also made it clear that he intended to enforce federal laws in the states that seceded.

Reminder:  If students have a fever, are vomiting, or dealing with other forms of illness, please stay home from school until you are free of symptoms for 24 hours without the use of medication.  The amount of students attempting to make it in for part of the day, or leaving midway through the day, only opens up the potential spread of illness within the school.
Thank you for your attention this policy – Dean of Student Life

PRAYER – A DOMINICAN BLESSING FOR YOU – May the God of Incarnation be with you. May the Word of God become flesh in you, revealed and embodied in the experiences of your life and in the communication of your truth. May your companionship empower all who journey with you and may you put flesh on the Divine Presence in the world. May the blessing of the Incarnate God be with you. –Maxine Shonk, OP
