ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY – December 16, 1773 In Boston Harbor, a group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohawk Indians board three British tea ships and dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.

Christmas Concert – Everyone is invited to the Catholic Central Music Department’s Christmas Concert TONIGHT – Monday, December 16 at 7:00 pm in the Cathedral of St. Andrew.  Our three choirs, the band, jazz band, small ensembles and alumni will be performing!  We hope to see you there.

Volunteers for the Holidays – Snowflake Break at the Grand Rapids Public Museum offers family-oriented hands-on crafts and activities for visitors!  We are looking for outgoing and friendly, teen and young adult volunteers to assist all ages.

Available shifts

  • December 22 through January 6 (excluding 12/25 and 1/1)
  • Mondays through Fridays: 9:00am – 12:00pm & 12:00pm – 3:00pm
  • Saturdays & Sundays:  10:00am – 12:30pm & 12:00pm – 3:00pm
