PRAYER – A DOMINICAN BLESSING FOR YOU – May you know blessing when you find yourself orphaned by the death of a parent or the diminishment of the generation before you. When you are left to your own devices and find yourself responsible for your own future, may you hear the voice of God in your inmost being: “I will not leave you orphaned.” May you know this parent God beside you and before you, guiding and loving you into a future of justice, peace, and compassion for all who feel alone in this world. May the Parent God bless you. –Maxine Shonk, OP
